Q: How to restrain telemarketers?
Pick up the phone when it rings and let the other person start talking. After few seconds, interrupt and ask the person for his/her name and the company name they work for. Once the caller is identified they become more careful with their actions. Tell them that you are not interested in the stuff they are promoting. It makes them understand that it is an unwanted call. Politely but firmly ask them to delete your phone number from their lists and to not call this number again. This should work in most cases. Telemarketers will accept your request because their goal is to sell not to upset people. (Read article)

Q: How do I stop unwanted phone calls I am receiving?
We recommend that you ask to be put on the telemarketers own do not call list. You can also register your number on the USA Do Not Call Registry or Canada Do Not Call List (1-866-580-3625). If the calls continue, contact your telephone provider directly and file a complaint. You will need the name or number of the organization. Consider subscribing to a call blocking service or add the number to your call block list, if you can program this feature. If the calls are of a harassing or threatening nature report the incident to your local law enforcement.
Q: How to uninstall apps from iPhone or iOS device?
Deleting apps from iPhone or iOS device is simple and can be done one of the following ways:
Tap and wiggle:
After you tap and hold any icon, the apps wiggle, and an (x) appears that lets you delete them. Just tap and hold any app icon until all the icons start wiggling. You will notice that many of them have a little (x). The ones without an (x) are default apps that are part of iOS and cannot be deleted. Tap the (x), then tap Delete in the dialog. Note that doing so deletes not only the app, but also all of its data.
Tap Settings > General > Usage, then look at the apps that display at the top of the window in the Storage section. This list is useful, because it shows how much storage each app actually uses. That may include just the app itself or the app plus all its data. Tap on an app's name then tap Delete App.
The above techniques are great if you want to delete apps from specific devices but still retain them in your iTunes library. If you want to nuke them entirely, go to iTunes and choose your Apps library. Click an app to select it and then press the Delete key. Another dialogue will ask you if you want to keep the app or move it to the trash. You can remove the apps from your iTunes library, but keep them in a folder on your Mac just in case.
In iTunes Apps > Updates window you will see a list of new versions of apps that you can download when an app has been updated. To delete an app right-click on app's icon and choose Delete. This deletes the app itself from your iTunes library, and also removes the update notification. The next time you sync your iOS devices, the apps you have deleted from your iTunes library will be removed from your devices.

Q: How to call phone numbers from the clipboard on iPhone
Especially useful for “vanity” phone numbers such as 1-800-MY-PHONE. Take advantage of a hidden feature in iOS and simply paste your number right into the Phone app from the iOS clipboard.
Simply copy the number to the clipboard as you normally would, and then open the Phone app to the “Keypad” section and tap and hold on the blue phone number display section above the keypad and the standard “Paste” option should appear. As an added bonus, when pasting in a vanity phone number, it will be converted to its numeric form with the original alphanumeric version displayed in a smaller font below. This also works in the other direction: a phone number already displayed in the phone app can be copied to the clipboard using the same standard tap-and-hold gesture.
